D'Angelo designed, rebuilt/manufactured, and supplied the grinding system shown above. 

The mill was purchased as a wet-grind overflow discharge mill and converted to a dry-grind peripheral discharge mill. The old belt-drive and flywheel system were converted to a direct drive with a gearbox, VFD, and cooler. 

The mill has an internal grate for product size and media control. The feeding system is a hopper on structural steel with an anti-plugging feed auger and rotating seal against the mill. The discharge system is composed of discharge slots behind the mills internal grate, and a collection shroud with dust collection and discharge flanges.

D'Angelo also designed the mill foundation, and provided the customer a 3D model of the mill and grinding module to plan out the site upgrade. 

Completing the mill includes installing a gear guard and erecting the building around the mill. After that, the feed and discharge equipment will be plugged into the circuit.
